When the Geeks become the Jocks
What happens when the Geeks become the Jocks? They Level the palying field. On Twitter it's often like High School and you wear your popularity on your sleeve. Followers become the standard by which you are measured instead of which sport you play of who you are dating. If you look at the list of the most Influential Twitterers this is your new Jock list. The geeks who might not have been the popular kids in High School built and rule Twitterville. Most of the big guns are likely to follow you back you don't have to be one the poplular Tweeples in the Twood (Hood).
If you follow and want to interact check the Following vs Followers ratio if it is near equal in number then follow. If you are not worried about interaction on Twitter but are in it for the information dump then read a couple of pages of a Twits posting to see if they are a fit.
It's like a recipe for a cocktail you put some ingredients and take some out untill it's the perfect daily read and interaction for you. Like testing perfecting a cocktail recipe all the information can make you giddy :o)
